Alyx Ayn Arumpac is a documentary filmmaker and producer from the southern Philippines. Her debut feature Aswang (2019) won 25 international awards and became the first documentary to take Best Picture at both the Gawad Urian and the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards. She is an alumna of the DocNomads European Master Course in Documentary Directing, the University of the Philippines Film Institute, and majored in Creative Writing at the Philippine High School for the Arts. A former current affairs producer, she directs and produces docs for broadcast alongside independent filmmaking.
